Customer Service Representative

Summit – Toronto is seeking a motivated and experienced customer service person for immediate placement.

Responsible for providing continuing contact with customers from the initial contact, through quotation stage, order placement and delivered order.  Collects information to ensure that the product ordered meets customer’s specifications, including price and delivery date.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicates daily with customers by e-mail, fax, and telephone
  • Provides Quotations Manager with details of the customer’s Request for Quotation (RFQ)
  • Contacts customer regarding RFQ submission to finalize order; negotiations regarding price, delivery date, etc. may take place before order is confirmed
  • Enters order into computer.
  • Ensure every order meets customer specification by reading drawings and schematics
  • Meets with production personnel to receive status reports on customers orders on a daily basis and subsequently provides customer with progress reports on order
  • Prints computer reports and distributes
  • Responsible for providing field technical support for the Regional Sales Managers

 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 -3 years prior relevant industry experience preferred
  • An understanding and experience with the pcb manufacturing process is preferred
  • Requires excellent command of the English language
  • Requires moderate Computer skills including excel, word, web and extensive email usage
  • Good interpersonal skills are required to communicate effectively and clearly with customers and staff.
  • Good organizational and multi tasking skills are required
  • A College or University diploma preferred

 

Compensation:

  • Negotiated with individual, but includes salary and potential commission on new business.
